Flush DNS Cache on Windows 10 /Windows 8


If you want to clear your DNS cache on Windows 10 system, just do the following steps:

#1 Press Win+x on your keyboard to open the WinX menu.

#2 Right click on Command Prompt and click Run as Administrator

#3 run the command ipconfig /flushdns and then press Enter key.

Or

#1 hold down the Windows key and then press R to open the Run dialog box.

#2 type ipconfig /flushdns and then press Enter key.

To flush DNS cache if you are using Windows 8, just follow the above steps.

Flush DNS Cache on Windows 7


If you want to clear you DNS cache on Window 7 system, just do the following steps:

#1 Click Start menu.

#2 type cmd in the start menu search text box.

#3 Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator

#4 run the command ipconfig /flushdns.

Flush DNS Cache on Windows Xp, 2000, or Vista


If you are using windows XP, 2000, or Vista system, and you can want to clear your DNS cache, just do the following steps:

#1 Click Start Menu.

#2 click Run…

#3 run the following command ipconfig /flushdns in the Run text box.

Flush DNS Cache on MacOS 10.10.4 and above


If you are using the MacOS 10.10.4 or above system, and you want to clear your DNS cache, just do the following steps:

#1 click Applications

#2 Click Utilities

#3 click Terminal

#4 run the following command:

sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

Flush DNS Cache on MacOS 10.10.1, 10.10.2, and 10.10.3


If you want to clear your DNS cace on MacOs 10.10.1, 10.10.2 or 10.10.3 system, just do the following steps:

#1 click Applications

#2 Click Utilities

#3 click Terminal

#4 run the following command:

sudo discoveryutil mdnsflushcache

Flush DNS Cache on MacOS 10.7, 10.8 and 10.9


If you are working on the MacOS 10.7, 10.8 or 10.9 system, and you want to clear your DNS cache in your system, just do the following steps:

#1 click applications

#2 click Utilities

#3 double click Terminal

#4 run the following command:

sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder

#4 run the following command:

If you are working on a Linux operating system, and to clear DNS cache in your system, just do the following steps:

#1 open one terminal window

#2 run the following command:

#/etc/init.d/nscd restart

If you are using the Ubuntu system, just run the below command:

sudo service network-manager restart

#1 go to the History menu

#2 click Delete Browsing History

Flush DNS Cache on Mozilla Firefox


To clear DNS cache for your Mozilla Firefox browser, just do these steps:

#1 go to the History menu

#2 select Clear Recent History and check all boxes in Details section.

#3 select Everything under Time range to clear list box.

#4 click Clear Now.
