If you just want to know the ip address of website, then there is one of the simplest way to ping that domain name. open a MS-Dos terminal interface in windows, issue the “ping” commmand passing the domain name. see below output:

There is another command named tracert to track the route packets taken from an ip network to a given host or ip address. this is windows command, if you want to run this command in linux system, you can issue the “traceroute” command. see below example you will see that this command will print the route packets trace to network host.
